The Board of Aqua Guardian Group consists of the following members:

Alan Cornell – Non Executive Chairman LLB, JD, MAICD

Alan Cornell is a former Chairman of Yarra Valley Water in Melbourne Victoria. He is a practising lawyer specialising in commercial and company law. Alan has been Special Counsel at Gadens Lawyers since 1 July 2006. Alan is also currently a Director of ICI Holdings (Australia) Pty Ltd, ICI South Pacific Holdings Pty Ltd, Opera Australia Capital Fund Ltd and Océ Australia Ltd, and has previously been a Director of Colorado Group Limited, United Energy Limited and Melbourne Port Services Pty Ltd.

Alan brings direct water sector experience to the board and is very familiar with the major issues facing the water industry in Australia on matters such as pricing, government regulation and the community's need to source new water through technology.

Alan has also served as President of the Law Council of Australia, as President of the Law Institute of Victoria and as a Council Member of the International Bar Association.

Ian Woodfield – Executive Director

Ian holds directorships of various private enterprises involved in the Property, Development, Tourism and Investment sectors and has had extensive experience in a wide range of business ventures both in corporate and private enterprise.

From an initial background in real estate development and qualifications in Building, Ian managed the Smorgon corporate property interests in Australia. From 1996 Ian was involved in joint venture projects with Smorgon family interests for business and large property developments. Most recently Ian has been involved in the establishment of a large tourism property portfolio, property development activities and investment.

Ian brings to the Board strong business entrepreneurial skills, including marketing, finance and project implementation.

Diane Bettess - Wasabi Energy Chief Operating Officer

B.Sci (Honours), MBA, Mas. Comm. App Fin.

Ms Bettess has held a number of general and executive management positions within the mining and construction industries. Her career spans over 25 years with international organisations in operations, project management, strategy and technical roles. These included Boart Longyear, Thiess (a subsidiary of Leighton Holdings), Orica and CSIRO. Diane is a geologist and holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours as well as an MBA and Masters of Commerce in Applied Finance. Diane is a board member for Aqua Guardian Group, Global Georthermal Limited and the Australian Drilling Industry Association. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Alwyn Davey – Non Executive Director LLB

Alwyn Davey has experience in cross border mergers, acquisitions and investments as well as formally being a member of the Executive committee of Cambrian Mining Plc, a diversified mining group. He was a Non Executive director for Energybuild Group Plc, a UK listed coal company and has been company secretary of a number of UK listed companies which were predominately part of the Cambrian Mining Plc group. Mr Davey holds an LLB degree from Waikato University, NZ.
